A voluntary community effort that has been teaching real, usable skills in Rohtak for more than three decades.
The Centre
Inaugurated on 10th March 1991, the Centre provides practical skills alongside theory, so that students can become self-employed or improve their job prospects through the skills they acquire.
This voluntary community effort has continued for decades in Rohtak, Haryana. The LPS Group family built this Hi-Tech facility — named for Shri B.P. Jain, founder of the LPS Group — in partnership with USHA, to produce world-class skilled professionals.
Today the Centre runs fifteen courses across art, craft, music, dance, fitness, technology and academics. Two of them carry formal affiliations: Kathak with Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, and Abacus & Vedic Maths with AVAS, Delhi.
Batches run morning and evening, and are open to children, students, homemakers, working professionals and senior citizens alike. No prior experience is required for any beginner batch.

The Centre is inaugurated on 10 March by Mr. Rajesh Jain, in memory of Late Shri Bimal Prasad Jain.

1990s
Craft, stitching and cooking modules begin, focused on income generation for women in Rohtak.

2000s
Music, dance and martial arts batches are added; annual competitions and cultural events begin.

2010s
Affiliations with Pracheen Kala Kendra (Kathak) and AVAS, Delhi (Abacus) bring certification pathways.

Fifteen courses, workshops for seven audience groups, and thousands of alumni across Haryana.
