On 10th March 1991, we inaugurated this Centre in memory of my father, Late Shri Bimal Prasad Jain, founder of the LPS Group. He believed that industry has a duty to the town that surrounds it — and that the most lasting gift you can give a person is a skill.
The LPS Group family built this Hi-Tech facility in partnership with USHA with one aim: to produce world-class skilled professionals from our own community. Practical training first, theory in support of it, and no barrier of age, gender or background at the gate.
What began as a voluntary community effort has continued, uninterrupted, for over three decades. Our students have gone on to start their own studios, kitchens, boutiques and academies. Many now teach here themselves.
